Mower dies hot, restarts cold? Stop throwing carburetors at it.
If it runs clean for 20–30 minutes, quits, then comes back after cooling, check spark immediately while it's still hot. A coil can fail under heat and look perfectly fine after it cools down.

Thread shredding isn't always tension.
If one needle suddenly starts shredding after a design ran fine, inspect the needle orientation and burrs around the needle plate before you spend an hour chasing tension settings.

Mini split cools fine for 15 minutes, then indoor fan slows way down.
Filters are clean and outdoor unit keeps running. Anybody seen this exact pattern before I start replacing boards?
Why WORKED IRL exists
Experience counts.
The smartest person in the room isn’t always the one with the certificate. Sometimes it’s the person who’s fought the same problem 200 times and knows the one thing everybody else misses.
WORKED IRL exists to surface that experience, test it against real-world outcomes, and give practical knowledge the credibility it deserves.
We’re not anti-education. We’re pro-proof.
